Falling Slowly (Once, 2006) on Piano

Hopefully this is clear enough to use as a kinda tutorial for those of you who want to learn it. I actually went to the trouble of transcribing some of it (gasp!). It's not great, but here it is on imageshack so you can play it *how I play it*. This is NOT the official music by any means, just my interpretation.

Oh, and watch the movie. Absolutely incredibly amazing movie. Once (2006).

Well, it's the key from the movie. It would sound in-tune with the film, but not with the album.

I'd call it the "wrong key", but then they dubbed in the wrong key for the movie. Who knows why.

the reason you arent hitting all the notes is that you are in the wrong key, the song is in C major, it looks like your playing a full step below that

The *movie* says it's in C, but the movie has it in B. Find a clip online and you'll see. =)

Sorry you feel that way. I've tried to get the camera at an angle where you can see what I'm playing and learn it by watching, and I've got the notes in the sidebar. I hope you find one that works for you. :)

This is a wonderful video. I would like to learn to play the song. I preferred the movie versions of the songs. The natural and seemingly spontaneous performances were better than the polished studio versions IMO and I immediately noticed and disliked the stepped up keys of the album versions. Irglova's voice was much prettier and sexier in the movie's key.
