This is the main theme (not the opening theme) of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.

Feels like a movie without pictures. I can see through through the first half of the song a destroyed world. There is nothing left, nothing but a girl in the middle of a dead land. 1:37 she realizes what she has done, what she has caused and regrets it from the bottom of her heart, while surrounded in darkness. 2:17 She wants another chance, to prevent the tragic ending, starts using the power to "Rewind".
