When does the gas engine kick on? Like, on a Toyota prius, if you go over 40pmh, the gas engine kicks on. Below 40, the electric engine takes over. So what happens with the Ford Escape Hybrid?

I have 2001 escape and like the look of 2005 - 2007 Headlight and was wondering if it would be compatible with the 2005-2007 one.

The video is wrong about one thing the escape hybrid a 133 horsepower (99 kW) gasoline I4 engine and 94 hp (70 kW) electric motor combine to give performance similar to the 200 hp (150 kW) V6 engine commonly used in the regular Escape.

The Hybrid escape has allways been a 4 cylinder.

I have a 2005 Escape Hybrid. The 2.3L is a 4 cyl. Not a V-6. The combination between the 2.3L motor and the hybrid's electric motors is supposed to provide V-6-like performance.
