@mcarmona are you joking? the original song is the famous Gabriel's Oboe written by Ennio Morricone and Sarah Brightman insisted with Ennio Morricone to give words to this song. He absolutely did not want, but then he said yes and Nella Fantasia is the result.

@hotqueekboi Agreed / exactly. Her singing is not ideally suited to this song. Flipside, I think it is ideal for Jackie Evancho, and is my favourite performance of hers. She really nails it, (even if David Foster nearly ruins the thing with his arrangement ("gotta get me and my piano in there!" -- sheesh!).

A beautiful rendition, but there are so many talented singers out there that never get discovered and have these opportunities. You Tube the local soprano Caroline Fountain who I stumbled across recently.
