well it actually is a japanese vehicle, Toyota is a japanese company, so the technology and engineering is Japanese. Secondly, Blind spot monitors arn't cameras, they're can monitor if someone is comming up beside you in your blind spot and warn you not to change lanes.

First, it's an American vehicle, not a Japanese vehicle. Second, yes it does have backup camera.

the rear pillars makes it hard to see when backing up (blind spot problem)
theere should be a blind spot monitor option, sadly japanese vehicles don't offer this feature
