There are two monkeys in a laboratory in California that have a better command of the English language than you, but then again Darwin did say that there would be anomalies in his theory.

Was there last weekend seemed they only wanted French or Spanish in, Kept pushing anyone from England to the back of the Queue, Felt there was still a bit of resentment in the air , Walked away and went somewhere else , Best laugh is both my wife and myself have grandparents from Ireland Co Cork and Co Mayo,

@tourama I have to strongly disagree with you. I was a founding member of the business and know that English people make up a large portion of visitors to the Boxty House and have always been welcome. The queuing system is based solely on first come first served basis. There is absolutely no resentment nor was there ever any towards our nearest neighbours. The fact that you had to wait is due to the busy nature of the restaurant which is in huge demand yet is quite small.

Just got back from Dublin. I was there 10 years ago and I went to Gallagher's, so when I saw it, I wanted to try it again. The menu was great and the food was even better than I remembered. Very authentic and perfectly executed. I had a great time and left very satisfied. I can't wait to go back again.

@zebedee147 Steve, I spent many years in the Boxty House myself and glad to report I had a great time there too. It's a special place for sure. Many thanks for your comment.
