Wait a second. Didn't Gaddafi, in his time in power, raise the standard of living in all aspects over the approx 40 years. I mean, the literacy rate went from 9% to 64%. Free healthcare. Oil was 14 cents a litre. IT IS MUCH MORE NOW. Why is it more now? Because the west doesn't get involved without a benefit. Most of the oil now goes to France actually. I am not saying he was the best or most moral of men. But, life in Libya is worse now. For everyone who says he killed/intimidated, WE DO TOO.
