The Interview is the end of a document about Lucia Popp shown in occasion of the anivesary of her death or birthday. The second wife is her teacher from the academy of arts. They are speaking about the come back of Lucia to Slovakia, to her roots and about how she is thankful, that her teacher has thougt her not only the singing, but also to laugh. I am sorry for my bad english and that is only a short content of the interview.

You are the most gorgeous voice. You are the warmest person. You loved music and you loved your work. You loved your audience and they love you.

Thanks, Barbara, for reminding me of this and the Glenmed comments that I made previously. You can see in the last moments of this just how much emotion she must have felt being back amongst her own people not many months after the iron curtain had been lifted.
Look at the hands. They never leave her side. On the concert platform a true singer does not distract you with meaningless arm waving. Lucia Popp - a true singer!

@Panakeje Thanks a lot for your translation.

@gondorado Obviously, she's Lucia's old music teacher. What they are talking about? Just small talk: I'm so glad you've found some time in your schedule to come and visit me... One should have a place he/she belongs to, where he/she likes to return, like a Chinese proverb goes "Leaves always fall towards the roots. I'm glad yyou're still well... - It's important to have a laugh once in a while.. - Yes, very important, that's what you taught me, besides the scales...

@gondorado Obviously she is talking to her former music teacher. What they are talking about? Just small talk talk: "It's fime to see you again... I'm glad you're still well... a person should sometimes return to his/her roots.... I remember the way you taught scales to me..."

I have just read the biography of Lucia. In it there is a picture of the scene at the end of this Mozart performance. Lucia is standing with Yehudi Menuhin and the orchestra receiving the applause of the packed Bratislava audience. Yehudi appears to have been conducting. The date given is 10th June 1990.
