  • "I am shocked! Shocked! To find that gambling as been going on in here!"

    "Your winnings, sir."

    "Oh! Thank you very much!"

  • The best film of all time, according to many polls and critics, all the more amazing because it was almost not made, and Bogie and Bergman didn't much like one another. You could fill a book with all of the classic lines and scenes in this story.

I wish Sam (Dooley Wilson) had recorded more; what an amazing pianist and singer. And Claude Rains steals the show.... Can't wait to watch this again.

  • I one doesent think that this is the best movie of all time,, then you are brain dead.

  • hell true, it is!!! indeed!

  • interesting to see the old Van Nuys Air Terminal at 0:41. Also at the end the hanger was at VNY at the time.

Writing? Greatest ever. Read the script or at least the highlights. 10 of 10.

  • Nothing wrong with this condensation of Casablanca. The Czech subtitles are fascinating to me--but then I love languages--and this film.

God, Ingrid Bergman was gorgeous! And every character--even the bit players--all memorable. A miracle of a film.
