here's transcription of the hidden message to the japanese (made by myself, can be wrong somwhere): 愚かな地球人よ

    これでレッドファルコンが

    全滅したとでも思っているのか?

    地球前線基地は 失ったが

    次ぎのては討ってある既に

    我がレッドファルコンは

    永遠に不滅んあるぞ

which means: "Foolish Earthlings! You think you got away with

destroying us? We will take over all of Earth's bases and by the time you realize it, it will be too late. Were immortal for eternity! ."

  • @MarcoRossi101 it is japanese message it goes someting like this:

Woa waaah waza wooo waza uuuu waza uuoo

    And it means something like:

"Thanks for you yens, fellow japanese citizen come back soon"

    I hope this helps.

  • GET TO THE CHOPPA!!! sorry sorry sounds appropriate

  • @budibausto it was changed because of the american Delta Force movie....copyright infringement

  • @Musicman6454 Yeah!!!!!Look More Epic Than The American Version ^ ^

  • @Irrenmann It's the military.

    Expendable meat puppets-old prop bird.

Lost cause if the mission was a failure.

  • @Teraforce88 Wait, they actually used a chip in this game?

I just thought they wanted to make it look more kid friendly not horrify them out.

  • @MarcoRossi101 it is a message XD

  • @Bastiest - Gryzor is the EU version of the arcade game. The Japanese version of Contra is just Contra (though it's spelled 魂斗羅, which is pronounced "kon-to-ra").

  • @Bastiest Because Nintendo of America thought it would be "too expensive" to use Konami's VRC4 mapper chip, which was responsible for the added effects.
