2006 Dodge Charger R/T
FASTLANE INC. Custom Cam
FASTLANE INC. .030" Milled/ 3 Angle Valve Job Heads
JBA Shorty Headers
JBA Catless Midpipes
JBA Catback
GSM Cold Air intake

Custom CMR tune by Fastlane Inc of Houston TX

376/378 rwhp/rwtq on Dynojet Chassis Dyno

Tune is incomplete and when we add the 25% underdrive pulley in the coming weeks, tuning will be finalized, hopefully with a little bit bigger numbers too.

FYI - idle in gear is set at 850, and you hear it in park at 950 before it goes into open loop, the "true" exhaust note is heard after revs and once put into gear. And boy does it turn heads.

Enjoy!

  • Cam specs? Sounds a little mild... You know anyone running a 232-240* I-E @0.050" lift and 113 lsa? I'm really wanting to see a 5.7 with a cam that size...

  • i dont remember the lifts, 580's i think. but it was a 220/230 on a 116.

you cant fit a cam in the high 230 durations in a stock shortblock 5.7 hemi.

    these things arent LSx's lol.

i pulled that cam out and went to a 219/223 @ 113+2 cam. it loped a little harder (from the tighter LSA), but still doesnt sound like a healthy LSx cam and picked up power. the stock hemi's dont like a big cam very much.

    i sold the car and got a corvette with a 402 stroker and a 249/255 @ 110 cam in it :)

  • *edit* it was a 222/230 @ 116 (typo'd above)

it was WAY over cammed for a stockish 5.7 hemi.

like i said tho, cam designs for these new hemi's are nothing like the LSx's. the heads are too different to even try similar grinds.

the average "mild" hemi grind is about a 212/212 (on the small side) or maybe a 215/219 (both at 113 lsa).

    the average"mild" lsx cam is a 228/228.

    lol

i miss the comfort of my dodge, but the corvette is miles above it in performance.

  • @atheris86 Ahh. Well I guess my friend is out of luck for his daytona then. Sounds like you went about as far as you could with it. Sounds like you made a good choice with the vette. I personally am Hoping to get into an 04-05 ctsv... ;) I'm sure you can guess where that's goin. Lol

  • @flubyux2

with the stock shortblock i did.

    i ran a best of 12.3 @115.

i upgraded gears to 3.06 from a challenger, with ported heads cam and stall.. full exhaust.

the daytona can be modded, a cam only swap with some springs can get you to about 350whp.

good luck on the caddy, i love the V''s! throw a lumpy cam up in that bitch haha. nothing like a fast 4 door!

  • oh nevermind. i found it in the description.

  • so what is the overall horsepower of this thing after the upgrade?

  • wow really?! what 2700 in parts did u flush?!!

  • well...

considering everything i spent the money on the first time around (when i didnt know as much, and went to a shop that specialized in Ford, not Dodge)..... got removed.

that 2700 was essentially flushed down the drain.

the second time around, i spent about 1,000... got a better cam, better parts, better tune..

(and with all of the other mods)

my car now runs a 12.4 @ 114 at the track...

which is pretty damn fast given that its a 4200 lb car.

  • thanks man...by the sound of that thing id say money well spent!
