Airbus A380 - First (Ever) Takeoff From Boston Logan International Airport - February 9, 2010

Using callsign "Airbus 502 Super" ("super" instead of "heavy"), this big bird powers down the runway to a quick liftoff and a spectacular left bank over Boston Harbour in the morning sun.

tbird209. I usually go to Bayswater Rd in East Boston/Orient Heights. Or GrandView Ave/Coughlin Park in Winthrop where the planes land/take off directly above at 300 ft. Much better than Castle Island in Southie as you can see them land/takeoff.

Tbird, I know Boston has no regular A380 service currently. However I heard of two major possibilities for A380 service at Logan:

1) When British Airways gets their A380's, couldn't they fit it into one flight of A380 or an A380 and B747 flight?

2) During the summer, Air France has one B747 flight and an A343 a day. Couldn't they combine it into one A380 flight a day?

Of course my question is, can the international terminal handle it? Or do they need to modify gates, taxiways, runways, etc?
