Morrigi Defending against Hivers

I thought this was a potentially neat battle so I thought I would do a recording. Dreadnought vs Dreadnought battle with the Morrigi bringing Pulsed and normal Phasers, cutting beams, and lots of drones. The Hivers bring... targets, and some interesting mass driver weapons. Sword of the Stars is STILL so very good. Forgot to record sound so tossed some music on.

@RapidFyrez I would say yes, AMoC added a lot of new toys and new gameplay to all the races (not just another race, though the race is fun). In fact I would recommend going for the complete collection (about the same price as AMoC + ANY on GamersGate... and you get a few maps w/complete collection that you can't get otherwise).

btw: Sorry about the delay... besides not visiting youtube frequently the comment system really ticks me off a lot (error messages, no error but no post either... etc)

@BlueTemplar15 Completely accidental. I goofed and didn't enable sound recording as I had intended. I didn't think I could reproduce some of the stuff I caught so I kept this.

questiong: it didnt look like the hiver were trying to go for ure ships at all, just trying to bum rush the planet it self, why werent they going for ure dreds and turn thems selves into a shooting gallery

@InRealTime769 It's a good tactic to go for the planet, particularly if your enemy is strong and it costs too much to kill their ships.  Also Hiver ships have a good firing angle from every angle unlike most races so they are best at rushing to the planet and hitting it and everything else on the way. Morrigi are among the most maneuverable ships for comparison (especially their dreadnoughts). A little damage to a planet goes a long way, especially in close games (this wasn't close).
