@rogerspaul63 Don't like this one at all. Too weird. I can hear the obvious Joy Division comparisons alright, but I always preferred New Order anyway! I find the vocals are a bit off, and while the guitar ideas are imaginative and nice, they seem pitchy and loose. I would suggest re-recording it for a start, and maybe getting a different singer, or consider correcting the vocals? Where was this recorded?

@NewIrishMusic ALso, why does the video black out after a couple of seconds?

Haven't heard anything this unusual in a long long time. Probably not since the 80's. It's the type of music that very few norms will like but there would be a cult following to it. Not my bag at all, but I know plenty of people who would probably like it. But it kind of gives me a bit of a headache! Must be my age showing. :-)

It's very unusual. Sounds very retro, or dated. Also sounds like it was done this way on purpose? I agree that the vocalist is a little harsh and maybe should soften up a little. Need to get the vocals recorded in a quieter environment also. But the style of the music reminds me of 1978/79. Kind of New wave - ish. And I really liked some the more more abscure sounds back then.
Not mad about the vocalist, but LOVE the guitar and bass riffs. Reminds me of something Joy Division would have done.

Good stuff. But sounds not so much like Joy Division -- more like ozploitation bands -- Bruce Wellie or Lubricated Goat or Grong Grong... the metal riffs are like the sounds Bruce Wellie recorded at the slag heaps when he worked as a smelterer for Australian Railways. But that's really rare stuff you probably haven't even heard.
