  • Our courses are all held in Ellesmere, Shropshire.

  • Very good technique. I'm learning the trade on a professional level. I made tufted chairs and had to curve the foam over the seat back. I used the same technique to do it, and it made my life a lot easier to staple the fabric over the edge. It had a prettier finished look to it. Everyone in my class thought it was a neat trick. Looking forward to checking out your other videos.

  • @Shahlamarie. Yes you are right when dealing with arms backs or anything that you cannot handle like the stool or a drop in seat it will certainly help to staple the foam first becasue it is not possible to apply the even weight in the same way to stick the edge down.

Good to know you are training to be a professional we can't get enought good upholsterers in the trade. Consumers are beginning to recognise quality and be prepared to pay for it these days.
