SD cards are rather compact storage media, especially when compared to some of the forms of storage we've had in the past. I had to dig a few items out of my closet for this video. It's too bad I long ago threw away the five and a quarter inch floppy disks I had many years ago! I still have a couple computers with three and a half inch floppy drives, believe it or not!

Some of you will notice that I took down my last video for this song. That one got off on the side topic of collections and I decided, after being annoyed by the last video for about a week, that the proper focus for the video would be computer storage media and devices. So, I revised the video and hopefully this one is actually a real improvement over the previous video for this song!

  • Pretty cool video.

  • Thanks! The penguins make it cool... I just make it geeky!!! LOL

  • TRAPEZIUMS are almost as cool as SD cards lol i wish someone would write song song about them........

  • Writing a song about trapeziums is something that could be done, but the video concept is not immediately apparent to me! What do you imagine the visuals would be for such a video?

  • Yep . .stuff keeps getting smaller all the time . . . and then it becomes obsolete overnite ! As a photographer, i worry that future generations won't have the great record of everyday stuff that we enjoy because of photographic negatives which belonged to amateurs - great long-term storage, great capacity. People will just delete the everyday stuff. Every time I change my camera, the new one uses a different card !! -.-

  • A lot of people archive all there stuff online. They just dump the entire contents of their camera onto one of those photo sharing sites. For me, maybe one out of ten pictures that I take is worth posting on my website. But the size of the online photo archives must be getting huge! And then there are online video archives... like YouTube!!!
