Vermont Country Store Snapshot: Vintage Treasures

Though the legendary Vermont Country Store is known worldwide for its diverse offerings of the 'practical and hard to find', many of its most devoted customers aren't aware that the store is chock full of an impressive and eclectic collection of antiques and vintage treasures. None are for sale, but they're on display for the amusement of the many folks who come from far and wide to visit this very unusual destination.

Along with his three sons, owner Lyman Orton carries on the tradition of running this catalog, retail and e-commerce buisness which serves over 1,000,000 million customers annually. And in this video, he shares stories and little known facts about some of the store's most captivating artifacts and explains how these vintage collector's items found their way to the company's original, flagship store based in Weston, Vermont since 1946.
