Bettis Bild (Leon Bakst Painting)

this shows a dancer from the russian ballet of sergej djagilew, originally painted from leon bakst. this painting is a costume-design for a bacchante in the ballet 'narcisse' .
star dancer vaslav nijinski had the role of narcisse.

in this video i show how to paint this painting in acrylic on canvas. the music is from charlie chaplin 'modern times' who had has seen some of the famous ballets of djagilew and was both impressed and inspired by them.

so i thought it would look funny to make an old clip like a silent-movie which was made during these times and i couldn't find no music more matching than chaplins music.
the painting will be 100 years old in 2011 and I say wow!

bin wie immer sprachlos. aber das video ist ja mal echt perfekt!!

das bild ( du weißt ich bin dein fan) ist natürlich der hammer geworden. aber das gesamtpaket mit dem schauspiel, der stummfilmmusik, den cuts und den comments ist einfach ...bäääääm geworden :P
