Kids like this give me a slight bit of hope to have another musical era like the 80s metal era

Randy's Polska Dot V!

Great playing! The Randy replica guitaris wicked cool to. I can actually see, if you wanna call it, a similarity in his character similar to Randy's, the being humble and the kindnesss.

It is not a set order, but you forgot LEAD PRIMER (Listen to the interview where Troy & I discuss the importance of completing this book BEFORE taking on LEAD ONE), as you would be surprised how many experienced guitarists can't play with perfect intonation & timing, even though they may have played leads much more difficult than the leads in PRIMER,... but to do it PERFECT against the track,... well, if helps if you have a teacher and the discipline to do it right,
METAL TRICKS between L1 & L2

montezuma's revenge?, in my book it's called "DANGER AHEAD", anyway i'm sixteen (been playing for 6 months now) just finished up the heavy side and am half way through this. how often does hnick practice?

"Danger Ahead" was the original name of the solo in the first edition of the series was printed. When the entire series was revamped in the late 90's, they changed the name,... I guess for humor.
Nick pretty much practices when he is not sleeping, in school, with with his girlsfriend. He is very dedicated to his instrument. Thanks for the comment.

One thing you could do is get the Stetina books, and also DVD's by Metal Method. Both are great for learning. Links to both authors sites are on our HUNTSMUSIC website, but try to find a teacher wherever you go. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!
