Me playing the Praeludium in C BuxWV137 on the Arp Schnitger-organ in Uithuizen (NL). The instrument was restored in 2001 by Bernhardt Edskes and is one of Schnitgers best preserved instruments with mostly original pipes. Don't mind the mistakes I make. I had to record it at once...and I didn't practice :P...

  • A fantastic organist and a nice guy.

Have you ever played the Muller of Leeuwarden?

  • @JMSW1955 I'm sorry I didn't read this earlier...no I haven't. Would love to.

  • What spirited playing. Very lively and joyful. Love the ornamentation. Not too much..just right.

  • The manuals are being coupled, due to the mechanical action this actually shifts the keyboards so that the coupling takes place. Awesome, no?

  • prachtig gespeeld Ik hoop dat je dit nog eens op het tranceptorgel in de rotterdamse Laurenskerk speelt

  • Thank you for posting !

    Very nice play :)

I wish I could find a baroque organ to play around or in Amsterdam !

  • Perfectly played! Just the right tempo and nice addition of flourishes to keep the sense of this piece having been originally an improvisation by Buxtehude. Thanks much!

  • very nice old origins...

  • super good

  • What mistakes?

Fine performance, and a characteristic Schnitger sound - glassy mixtures and gloriously creamy pedal reed. Bliss!
