LED prices are coming down. Just like when CFL bulbs first came onto the market, as more people buy them, the cheaper (and better) they get. Make sure you see what you are buying - some of the cheaper imports are not very bright and have a 'cool' light colour - brighter and warmer coloured bulbs are a bit more expensive, but worth it. This is the future of lighting!
