Cause of death? Clearly Leonardo was swept up in a cataclysm that buried him instantly under tons of mud. I suspect the wound has nothing to do with a bite and everything to do with an injury sustained while being swept down some valley in a massive flood. Gashed against a tree or rock.

@BruceAtMidcan This is a great film. Mike Jorgensen, while filming this, stopped by our house in Ennis Mt for dinner. Him and I have been friends since 1970 when he lived in Washington.
