Totally agree, Talos looks solid and real CGI would not look half as good. Modern SFX should try harder to combine techniques rather than replace everything with CGI.

One of my favorite movie sequences ever. It's not shown here, but I love the moment where Talos first becomes animate and turns to looks at Hercules and the other argonaut.

@Spartacus217 If i am not mistaken, i think they already have: don't they bomb the so called "Taliban" with Talos missiles? Correct me as i am not certain.
