  • 1, those so called trains are trams. We have a real railway, but that doesn't go through the city. The trams are part of the daily transportation in the city. Outside, you have to rely on busses. Also, those cameras on the trams were placed there because beforewe had them, there were pretty many bad things happening there.

BTW, if you were here sometime prior to Christmas, you should have gone to Liseberg, the amusement park. It's gorgeous at Christmas.

  • I did go to Liseberg. It was great! I had so much fun.

  • I'm from sweden and I must say that this video does not make it justice :P its a good video, but... (and I am serious now) it paints a dull and soviet-looking picture of Sweden :P I've been to just about every country in europe and I still think mine is the most beautiful... maybe france can compete but that's it :)

  • haha. soviet looking? I thought it's more like London looking. Maybe it is not that boring for people who are from the place have very little snow. It's always nice to see the different stuff including the sights. I actually liked the mist or fog in the morning in Sweden a lot. That was amazing. so quiet and fresh.

  • Im visiting here for a week in a couple of months, its the first time ive ever travelled abroad on my own so im pretty scared! However I have a really nice swedish friend whos coming to show me around so I guess thats good! I can only speak english but the swedish use alot of english in gothenburg?

  • when i was there, people spoke english a lot. and good english too! But learn some swedish before you go just to show your respect and be nice. They are just nice people, so you will be fine! Have fun!
