I can't imagine this being usefull when you have a delay of 90MS.

Actually many find this useful well over 90ms. This includes remote HD video editing (Bangalore India & workstations in LA), Automotive design workstations (Germany to US), and command/control (Google Earth) etc.

Most go this route to secure the valuable data, access for contractors, live design reviews with remote customers, consolidated tech support etc.

Note that the latencies shown (up to 150ms rt) are where the testing has been completed. Additional testing is in progress for higher latencies in both hardware accelerated PCoIP applications as well as the upcoming version of VMware View with PCoIP technology.

Looks promising and thanks for the post, however I wish our worst case scenarios were all 90ms and 150ms rt cases, 300ms to 500 is more like it.

Also, will this technology also find its way into VMware View's software implementation of PoIP?
