  • So layered, so rich, the melody fairly cries out in pain over love unrequited, and gently falls like Charlotte Vale's tears. It's brilliant. Also, satisfying knowing that Max Steiner received an Oscar in recognition of this masterpiece. Possibly, his finest hour.

  • What a beautiful melody. Hollywood has certainly given the world some of its very best music and I feel so indebted to those geniuses for their great gift.
