Brian May never played as complex a tune or riff as he was capable of playing. There are many guitarists out there that write very complex music, but in the end Brain May wrote music that sounded great, and thats what's important in music, not just how many notes you can fit in a second.

nice to see the noted fret-wanker Vai taking a back seat for once.

I can't stop bending elastic bands in my fingers ,what can i do?where will i find Dr May's best bending extravaganza?

wow!!!! back on 1992 when all these guitarists were at their highest!!

I think this was one of Brian's most solid vocal performances.. I wonder why he cut the solo down its so bad ass...

don't forget the late and god of all that beats the drum!!!! cozy powell \m/

Brian May still rocks the hair :D

Some might say he isn't the most exciting or doesn't give his guitarmanship skills the display they fully deserve but there are few guitarists who play live today who can play as tight as Brian May still does & still nail every note without butchering the original sound.

@danspianocovers Haha. "To buy an Escort!" That made me laugh!
If they'd've cut their hair right then on stage - the world would have imploded from the reverse gravitational pull.

Brian May is so underrated, there are many guitar riffs and techniques that are really quite complex, so before people just rule him out and say Vai is better and that's that, just take a look at his catalogue properly rather than probably just basing him on the odd common Queen riff, there's lots of amazing guitar work in Queen's songs, and complexity doesn't always have emotion! Some of the simplest of riffs can have maximum effect. May has one of the most unique guitar sounds in music.
