actually u r wrong, yes, they r ran by hydraulics and yes, they require a pump, but it doesn't run off of the engine, it is an electric pump, which runs off of the battery, haven't u seen a tractor using the backhoe with his engine off? cuzz i sure have

Its BS, the backhoe attachment he's using to "Push" the tractor is operated via hydraulic pistons which require a hydraulic pump which can only be activated if the engine is on to power the pump. Now if he's out of gas then how is he able to do this? and btw you can hear the damn engine!
