Heathcliff Andrew Ledger (April 4, 1979 — January 22, 2008) was an Academy Award-nominated Australian actor. After appearing in television roles during the 1990s, Ledger developed a Hollywood career. He starred in both critical and financial successes, including 10 Things I Hate About You, The Patriot, Monster's Ball, A Knight's Tale, and Brokeback Mountain, and completed the role of The Joker in the forthcoming movie The Dark Knight shortly before his death.

This is my tribute to a great actor.

He was taken long before his time.

He will be truly missed.

Thanks. I mean yeah he was a good actor, not a great actor but he was good, damn good. It just gets me going to hear everyone say. "Dont talk about him, it makes me sad" It's like Shut up! You didn't know him personally. For all you know he could have been a jerk. We don't know. Same thing with Michael Jackson. I personally didn't like him, he made some good songs but he was nuttier then a squirrel turd. People gave him shit & as soon as he dies people cry and shit.

Heath Ledger has done alot of memorable work.

Brokeback mountain, Knights Tale, The Patriot, Monsters Ball. I don't think I've ever seen him in a bad movie. He was a very talented actor, and obviously had a long career ahead of him. His potential is part of what makes it so sad.

I mean the only thing people say is a knights tale and 10 things I hate about you.
