Peymaania, I dont think the ruling elite in America is blind to the facts. I think they know Iran is not after a bomb and cant make one without telling everyone they are doing so. The ruling elite instead reies on the American people who are blind to the facts and simply swallow everything the government spoon feeds them.
Just like in Iraq, the powers that be knew there were no WMDs, yet said so because they knew an ignorant populace wouldnt know better or question the official party line.

Many people have said the very same thing about G.W.Bush. I'm glad that you think he's a decent guy, but will the decision makers
in the U.S. listen to his advice? I doubt it,
because the ruling class in America is very
arrogant and blind to facts. This blindess comes from years and years of mis-education,
and regurgiation of the same old lies, stereotypes and cliches about the Iranian nation and its people.
