We just decided to savor once more the beauty of this age-old bridge built during the heydays of the Marcos era. The San Juanico Bridge connects the islands of Samar and Leyte. Its north end leads you to Samar and the south end leads to Leyte where just a few minutes away is bustling Tacloban. The guys in the video are Ritchie from Malaysia OFM postulant on exposure, Mave the Chief Nurse just after his surgery, Mike the Chief Maintenance, and Long of the OPD. Video was taken in one of our hospital supplies purchase trips to Tacloban. Sorry, my finger sticks in the lens and the bridge vibrates when large cars would whiz through. Fr. Jun Jungco, OFM.
