RCI 2995DX Part II

Here is another chapter of the base station story. Also includes comments about fusion and cobraworx. Many people on forums talk about these companies in a bad light, they are this, they are that! But how many actually invest in something or just join the bandwagon and talk as that is easier than to buy? Remember, only a few people had troubles and all the other hundreds of people have not. So, be smart and unless you have something in your hand thats bad there is nothing to comment about.. I have invested, and i have had troubles. One radio was not the best, and one delivery was slow. More than that 3900s, general grants, rci2970dx, rci2950dx all delivered well, all working exceptionally well and without any troubles at all. AND HOPEFULLY SOON the new 3900EL will be here and seen here in its glory whether good, bad or ugly it will be here and the category that it is will also be here!!!!

@Iria8309 Yes it makes all the bands from 24-32mhz as inside is a RCI 2970DX. So simple answer YES

I'm getting the same radio in about 2 weeks from a friend of mine he talks on it and it sounds fantastic it does 25 to 50 to 150 watts me personally i never had a problems with those radios i also used to have a 2950 which work just as great as the 2980 or 2990... like you said people that talk shit about certain radio's are idiots they just can't afford it or too scared to put the effort, time and money to get louder damn mud ducks lol

I think it would be better if they make a new Base radio using the 2970N2 final transistor's. with the fan on the back it would run cool all day.. just keep it around 220watts max on SSB don't over do it... I think it would be great....

hi. i've had the original 2970. was a geart radio till i lent it to a buddy and he burnt it out. now i have a 2950dx. i love it. simple stright forward radio. btw simon, love your videos.. takecare..

did u see the new ranger 2995dx is has the new black display, few more watts and rx is a little better also. looks cool. also is easy modded for 18-29.999 megs
