@Mancunian2002 "The City of Shellharbour" is what you're referring 2, and that is the council, not the city. What you're saying is like saying "Baulkham Hills is not part of Sydney". Politically, yes "Shellharbour City" is independant. But geographically and officially, Shellharbour is just another suburb of the Greater Wollongong Area.

@angel55676 sorry to tell you but Shellharbour is now a city and has been for a while. To quote from the Shellharbour City Council website : "Shellharbour gazetted as a City in 1996 as its population passes 50,000."

PS. Don't mean 2 be a smartass, but Shellharbour is merely a suburb of Wollongong, not a seperate city :) .

Oh, bless you for putting this together. It's beautiful. I saw a dolphin pod swimming between Surf Beach & the Blowhole as I walked past the Showground in the dusk last night. Nature is a beautiful woman.

@AaronFarquhar Breathtaking to watch. I'm from up the 'Gong, just visit Kiama as much as I can. I've been talking to a lady on Facebook from Lithgow, who was down to Kiama for the fireworks. I can't believe how many people were in town that night. I've never seen the streets so full of people. It was a beautiful night for them.

@MsNostalgicDi Thanks for your post, Yeh im from Warilla and i can say that i love this place. People are starting to realize how beautiful it is down here now we get thousands of people flocking down here every week and its awesome. I live right on the Lake and you should see how busy it gets everyday and everyone i talk to are from up and down the coast
