As the transgendered (FtM) parent of twin sons...this song is insanely touching to me.
I didn't have a good relationship with my father (who couldn't figure out why his 'daughter' never acted right) and I always wished that my dad would love me for who I was.
Even if you're not able to be there...I'm glad to know that there are fathers like you in the world, who love their children with all their hearts.

thanx for the kind words, babygothika. i can honestly say i had a tragic "father-scenario" when i was growing up. anymore i wonder, "who hasn't?!"
you know, i am not there for my kids like i want to be, but when i am its magic. i think it is that way for them also. when we get together its like we never ever were apart!

you know, love is a strange and wonderous thing. a miraculous energy that can't be trumped. i love my children and my children love me. and that energy travels the miles between us. and i got enough love in me to send a lil' your way too!

to those of you who gave compliments and defended the track & vid.. thank you!!! you let me know that there are those out there who look beyond a shitty recording or the fact that i am a gay father and really hear what it is i am saying.
to those of you who hate, thank you also... it's those tacky remarks that let me know i am on the right track.
