Rider Mattox's First Mini Bike Ride.

Rider Mattox, son of Jerry & Tammy Mattox rides his KTM 50 Mini Adventure for the first time Feburary 26th 2007 on his 3rd birthday.

*** This little video created much controversy because of the helmet used. I totally agree that kids who ride dirt bikes must wear proper protection. For this video Rider was very protected. We allowed him to ride the bike about 20ft to film his first ever ride. Please see Riders other videos to see how he has progressed. Ok, I appreciate your comments on the helmet. I see that most of you are very cool, and know what I am doing, but some of you are just trying to start crap, and be stupid. Here is an update on a comment I made a year ago, just so you can figure it out.

He rode the bike 20 ft with training wheels. Rider Mattox was 3 years old when this video was made, and he has gone on to race Harescrambles 20 times, and a full season of Arenacross. Yes he is totally protected. He is now 5 years old.

This video was made just so grandma in another town could see his new interest. For those of you who think he is to young, obviously do not follow the racing world. gosh he has changed in so many ways since then lol he is still the same size but has improved alot!! he done really good this past weekend at I-81.
