  • Axl sucks here.

  • Axl agreed and then pulled up a chair next to Bruce. After a minute or two of conversation, Axl put the lyrics on the table and Bruce and Axl hovered over the paper for a few minutes. As Bob Weir/John Popper et al left the stage, Bruce and Axl simply got up, walked onto the stage and rocked. No rehearsal. No practice. Amazing to witness.

  • xl joins Bruce Springsteen for this song at the 1994 Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony. From Brucebase - This duet was originally scheduled/planned for Rod Stewart and Elton John. Rod Stewart didn't make the event because of the earthquake in Los Angeles shortly before the event. As Bob Weir/John Popper and others peformed on stage, the production personnel approached Bruce with the lyrics to Come Together. Bruce politely refused, repeatedly.
