Tara Hack's beautiful song tells the story of Schapelle Corby, an innocent suffering the daily cruelty of a life in the hell of an Indonesian prison cell. This landmark video presents a global demonstration of support for her: winding its way around the world from New York (home of the Statue of Liberty) to Canberra (home of the Australian government).

Schapelle was subjected to the most horrific of show trials for importation of marijuana - a trial in which evidence and justice were simply diversions to be dismissed as quickly as possible. The court refused to test the drugs for country of origin (if they were Indonesian she could not have imported them), they refused to fingerprint or DNA the bags, and they then burned this evidence so it could never be used to free her! The judge, who had never acquitted anyone in over 500 drug cases, refused to even order the collection of CCTV from the airport. Schapelle Corby didn't have a chance: she didn't have a trial.

She was sentenced to a barbaric 20 years in the hell of a squalid and dangerous prison cell in 2005. Yes: 20 years - more than murderers, rapists and terrorists often receive. She is still there now: suffering.

Tara Hack recorded this stunning song at the end of October 2008, at Clould9 Recording in in New York. It is a remarkable track, from a hugely talented artist. But a special song required a special video, and hopefully it will help spread awareness of Schapelle's tragic situation to a wider audience.

Please remember that Schapelle's cries for justice are ignored, her tears are not seen, and her voice is not heard. YOU can become her voice, and YOU can make a difference. Please pass on her story, this song, and our Schapelle videos to friends, colleagues, to anyone who will listen. Please Don't Walk Away... Tara didn't. Can you?

  • What an amazing video!!! I am so touched by the thoughtfulness of other people. I have supported Schapelle from day one and will continue to do so until she is free. This type of injustice to one person cannot go unchallenged. It's wrong. The girl did not recieve a fair trial plain and simple. She should not be there.

  • Time Schapelle came home, to freedom
