Meizu M9 has an excellent sound quality. There's no BEE eq like Cowon, but there's someones (pop, rock, metal, classis, bass). This player use playlist, and display album arts for MP3 (but not for flac).
On Meizu M9, you can chose playlist, one son of your library, or by artist (listed like contacts). Search is better on Cowon, but for a smarphone, i think that it's pretty good.
I put Android 2.3.3 on my Cowon D3, it's quicker but not as quicker as a Meizu M9.
