I can't seem to get as much range in my drum as this... is it all in the handwork or does it have some to do with the drum itself?

I saw the master at work, sitting no more than four metres from him... I was very impressed!

a real bodhran solo, I like the way he plays a rollicking crowd-pleasing style but keeps the technique in the tradition. Way more interesting than the dicky-plooky top-end stuff that's all the rage now.
