Hilary began premiering her project, "In 27 Pieces: The Hilary Hahn Encores," a collection of new short pieces by 27 contemporary composers, for acoustic violin and piano, in October 2011. One interview with a participating composer will be posted every month. Here, Hilary talks with Soren Nils Eichberg about his musical life and "Levitation" -- his contribution to the project. (Apologies for the computer fan noise. It was recorded on an old computer and will be remedied next time around.) Technical difficulties affected the interview. One day we will all look back on this and laugh.
