This ninja likes soup. I make a pretty simple minestrone in this video. It's very loosely Halloween themed.

Recipe comes from Japanese cookbook 世界の野菜レシピ。or "Vegetable Recipes from Around the World". It's available in Japanese only, but hopefully if you want to make this, the video shows you enough detail.

This took only about an hour to make, including filming and prep time. Pretty tasty, though I recommend liberal amounts of salt and pepper.

Music is "Do what you love" by J Boogie's Dubtronic Science.

  • So far we have made the Asian Cabbage Stir-Fry as one of a stables at home. I never new that would be so good!!! Now we get to try the minestrone out next. This will be my first time making a minestrone, but it looks really delicious. Thanks again for the relaxing video!

  • @chadtcooper I'm so happy to hear you liked the Asian Cabbage! I love that recipe! Good luck with the minestrone. I recommend lots of salt and pepper to really finish off the taste. It's healthy and pretty hearty. Hope it goes well!

  • I' m lovin' the "Late Night Chef"! Looks tasty, I make minestrone a lot in winter, so good.

  • must...have...gaaaaarlic

  • @7thwave42 Same, I'd love a big handful of freshly grated cheddar on my spaghetti bolognese. I've seen quite a bit of pre-grated cheese sold here but never tried it.. Hmmmm

  • @Danoftouni Nothing wrong with food snobbery and yes its true the kraft stuff is expensive too. I so rarely eat cheese here because it costs so much. I'd kill for macaroni and cheese, its depressing :'(
