Skyrim - The Dragonborn Comes (Collab with Eidelnos)

I used to choose the songs myself, but then I took an arr... a request from Chiara.

At first Chiara wanted to sing this by herself, but then she asked me to add some strings, or "whatever you want". I wanted to do this differently, and Chiara approves ^^ Originally I was going to use strings, bass and bells as well but there simply was no need for them - I love this cover the way it is! I love how my piano and her voice play so beautifully together, and I love working with her!

Chiara actually gave me her vocal parts before I even knew that I'll be arranging this. Therefore I was able to hear her voice so many times while arranging, practising and recording, and that made this such an interesting and fun project. (So interesting in fact that a really special project of mine will be delayed)

Seriously though my friend, this is a truly enchanting arrangement and it really adds new life and soul to the music. And thank you for deciding not to add strings and so forth to this arrangement. Because as you say, there was simply no need for them.

I'm always drawn to 'Simple' pieces such as this because they express so much more. And as always, all thanks and praise to Chiara for her angelic harmonies. <3
