  • Is there enough resistance to get a good standing out of the saddle interval workout ? Your cadence while standing looked pretty high. I am considering purchasing a set of E-Motion rollers but I really want to make sure & understand that they'll do what I want them to do. :)

  • Lots & lots of very smooth and progressive resistance. I do my strength training on the rollers and I never use the "full resistance" setting 'cause i am not strong enough. I simulate climbing interval using setting 3 of 4, but need to gear down to say a 39X21. this gives a very realistic feel to the training with enough but not too much momentum in the system. Graham is riding with no resistance here.

  • I can stand up on them but you have to concentrate and not put down a lot of power because there is no weight keeping the back wheel sitting on the rollers. If you get it wrong the back wheel skites off and you go backwards but u should have enough time to grab something

  • When you train on E-motion rollers, you can stand up and sprint as hard as you want, the rollers have the resistance to handle sprinting and the "floating" design stops you from riding off. This is not possible on ordinary rollers!

  • are they metal ?

  • alluminium drums, annodised allumium frame. stainless & brass fittings! the highest quality!

  • @uRnotGOODLikeME Is that right? So what do you do when you hit top speed and can't get any more out of your piece of shit fixie, and a geared road bike rider comes flying past you? Who's getting owned then? What you gonna do when you're faced with a really steep hill? Don't tell me you'd climb it, unless your fixie gearing is that of a childs bmx. You cunt.

  • @uRnotGOODLikeME Bring it, Noob!!! ha wutteva

but you can't always find the time to go cycling on the road, to make it worth your while say a two hour cycle, but on a trainer you can half that, and then if the weather looks like its going to turn bad its easy to just step of your trainer and get indoors, not so good if you happen to be about 20miles from home and its getting colder..or you train indoors while the weather is bad to keep up your fitness. You should try it, there is a point to it..

  • Running over the same patch of roller over and over --- get hot much?

  • why yous that when u can just cycle on the road? the point isss realy would like to know....

  • hello, i have a roller but nashbar, doesnt have lateral movement, is it safe to ride out of saddle because since its fixed? because the front wheel is just above the roller and i feel if im going to fast i'll roll out and in a wall....

  • A Scottish "Legend" and he doesn't even have a dryer?

  • who the hell is graham mcgarrity?
