"The Games Network" was the name of a start-up company that was developing a system to distribute and play video games via cable TV. This was a radical concept in the early 1980's. TGN developed a working system and generated much industry excitement. However it ran out of money a few months shy of launch. The downturn in the video game market made further capital infusion unlikely, and the company sank.
I'm posting this video because I had a peripheral connection to the development project.
