More Than A Feeling live in 1997. Pretty decent closeup of Tom on his solo, and listen to Brad hold the last note of the song for 16 seconds, it's unreal. There's also has a cool little jam with Tom and the drummer after the song.

  • @aristotled1 It amazes me as I come onto youtube to view some videos and I see comments like this. I can only wonder what you are capable of playing considering how "mundane", "self indulgent" and "Not complicated nor technical" Boston (Scholtz) happens to be. I mean, gosh, EVERYONE must know who you are, right?

    Oh, never mind. They don't.

In most cases the "mundane" and "non-technical" is what people like to listen to. Dragonforce fanboys don't really count.

  • @aristotled1 Okay if you dont understand this I don't know how to help you. everybody can play something that somebody else made but Scholz made it up along with every other boston song. one example of an easy riff which i would say is the most well known riff is Smoke on the water and because of that one amazingly easy riff Deep Purple was popular. it doesn't have to be difficult to be good. and if you dont think thats enough try to play Foreplay long time. the first 30 seconds will screw you.

  • @aristotled1 You're dumber than a fuckin stick! If you're so great i'll see you up on stage in few years, and it better be at least at an Eddie Van Halen level...

  • Everyone shut the fuck up and listen the beauty of Boston. Thanks

  • God, this sounds just incredible even after all those years. Too bad Brad took his life away. R.I.P. genius!

  • @aristotled1 And its that simplicity that makes him so great. He manages to keep the tension while exploring different levels of intensity and mood while playing this song (with your wide vocab and musical knowledge you MUST know what that means) Music isn't just about chord patterns, scales, or even skill as some musician would like to think. Music is simply about feeling, And I don't know how self indulgent fits into anything you just said

  • @rjsingleton HEY, i like dragonforce but i also think aristotled1 is a freaken idiot

  • It's a real shame Boston didn't tour (globally) more often and release albums more frequently. As cheesy as this track is, to this day, it still sends shivers down our spines. Great music is measured by its endurance to shape generations. RIP Brad.

  • Aristotle's probably got trouble with the bass line from Barney Miller.

  • @aristotled1 What do you think YOU are, a modern-day Mozart or something? Get a life! Are you some sort of established, world-famous musician popular in every corner of the globe?

Oh, sorry, the only person you're popular with is yourself, eh?

    Sad.

  • You can't get enough guitars...

  • This 1997 tour remains my favorite concert experience of any of the 100+ shows I have seen since I started going to concerts in 1976. Having both Delp and Cosmo, it was like a wet dream come true.
