  • Those usually come with pachmayr grips and yours is wearing hogue grips. Did you switch them out or did you buy it that way?

  • @raimundough I like the Hogue grips better, than the pachmayr. it moves my hand alittle closer and makes me control the trigger better. and since I bought this as mainly a 44 spl carry revolver , this works for me

  • Hey postal1911 - i just found out that s&w had an 8 round capacity revolver. Thanks for posting this video, please help with the following: a) how much did u pay for it, the s/w site has retail of $1,156, thats a lot of money for 1 more round. b) i saw the low recoil on your video using .38 let me know if aim was good to target, also if this would be a good gun for a woman to handle with .38 rounds, im afraid of the recoil due to small nose for her on .38, c) how is recoil w/357 round? thank

  • i like this revolver very much., i payed 900 at a gunshow, but that was with tax because he was a dealer. the gun has lite recoil with 38 special and would be good for a med to large woman, because it is a N frame. never shot 357 thru it, the revolver fits N frame gear, holster etc.

point of aim was alittle to the right but with in tolerance for defense purposes.

  • @postal1911 can you tell me can you put Crimson trace grips on this revolver ?

i would appreciated if you told me ^^

  • @RoyalAlba1 the 329 is a N frame S&W and i think Crimson makes grips for it

  • @leeradio13 holds different amounts of rounds the smaller l frame holds 7 rounds and is a little smaller

  • @hammerogod recoil, damn hard with those scandium frames.

  • Isn't that a .357

  • Almost triple the price of the 642.

    Nice gun...too pricey.

And if you are going for an N Frame why .38 Spec and not a Mag load?

  • i've decided to go w/ the s&w 627 pc 2" barrel instead. :)

  • how does the N frame differ from the L frame? can you tell by just looking at it? the Nightguard series look identical.... how can you tell, what do you look for? i understand "frame" refers to the contour of the gun... what is the purpose of the different frame? thanks.

  • I saw another comment stating that revolvers don't have safeties. one selling feature of the 327 was that it had an internal lock. I wouldn't say it's a safety, buy it is safer than most other hand guns, because you can prevent it from getting into the wrong hands..

  • nice vid. it's great finally seeing someone who knows how to shoot a double action. I just got a 327. I was thinking about using it primarily as a 38 with +P loads for self defense. the magnum just seems to much for the short barrel, but I guess within feet of an attacker, it's not about being accurate. it's about being deadly. thanks for the vid..

  • in 3 years this will be my concealed carry weapon. its beautiful. i just love snubs, and i dont know why. im looking at it right now on S&W website right now and i cant help but drool over the wood grips. rented a .357 ruger snub 2 years ago at an indoor range and even though it kicked my 16 year old ass back then, i still enjoyed shooting every single round. once my enlistment is up im going to buy this and an original-no frills- type 1911. maybe a hi power as well.
