Most Americans dont appreciate VF5 or even VF games in general, but it is clearly the best fighter there is. It is the most technical and has the deepest fighting engine. More people should play it in America. In Japan you walk into the arcade and an entire floor is taken up with VF5 machines, and they are all occupied by skilled players.

@SoniJapan Do you really think VFR Final Showdown or VF5R are going to be released on consoles. Somehow I doubt it.

@TheTrampolineMen Jean Kujo is an amazing character that made his appearance when VF5 R was released in Japanese arcades. He'll be a playable character on console as well when Virtua Fighter Final Showdown releases.

VF is a technique emulator, so save your BS for something else like tekken or DOA...

While virtua fighter is the most realistic, it's certainly not that realistic atall lol, the jumping is still too high and u can be in the air forever, and i love busting up bounce combos, which tekken copied. Virtua fighter needs more promotion because it's one fantastic fighter ^^

I'm not a VF fan, DOA fan or MK fan in that matter. I admit I'm a Tekken player but that doesn't mean I wanna shun other fighting games like VF here. If I don't give an eff about this game, I'd shit around talking "Tekken's the best!" or something like that.
You can't force a fan of a certain game to like another that they're not fond of. You don't like this game, beat it. Wasting 300 characters to explain yourself is just bs.

@YoungKnoccOut lol Tekken is a virtua fighter wannabe, and DOA came out well after virtua fighter(virtua fighter is the first 3d fighter after all)
