Do prefer the astra VXR to be honest, i think they sound better and you dont get your moneys worth with civic type R. But the mugen is a completely different storey!

Totally different internals with different cams, valves, spring, manifold, exhaust, intake and ECU upgrade plus a huge weight saving equals lots of performance and smiles.
