That's weird, my KJ locks the rear differential automatically when I engage it into 4wd. Noticed it when I had it in 4wd to keep from spinning out my friend's gravel on a hill and it was dragging the opposing rear wheel when turning. I also have taken off stopped on a hill like that before when I tried going up it in 2wd. I'll see if my friend posts that video soon. Bought it used, maybe whoever owned it before me had a locker in it.
