@mexchewy My point is is for are ppl that are supposedly in the mexicayotl not wear any feather they come across just to look cool. And ppl, that wear the crosses is in my opinion cus they get into the danza when they dont know none of their history. If im a dancer im not gng to wear lion or tiger skin when im not from those areas. It would be disrespecfull.

Just to let you guys know peacock feathers and rooster feathers are not native to the americas.Alot of the mexica dancers wear these feathers,and ancestors didnt have this animals.Back in are ancsestors time not just anybody could wear feathers ,now this days ppl fill their heads with feathers.And you see alot of dancers with jesus christ crosses and bleached blond hair.Or mixing native traditions with christian traditions.
